Sound: Hearing airplanes flying by. She HATES the sound of thunder.

Food: Grapes, Olives, and a Jelly sandwich is what she asks for everyday for lunch. She also loves waffles, fruit snacks, and pickles. She hates brocolli, green beans, potatoes and rice.

Animal: Dogs

Color: Orange

Thing to listen to: Mr Donut Man tapes

Activity: Jumping. She loves gymnastics because she gets to jump on a trampoline.

Book: Star Wars ABC and Star Wars 123

Mothering

The other day Arya made this bed for her baby out of a blanket and a laundry basket (so much for the toy baby bed she has). She then said her baby was crying and needed milk, so she "fed" it a bottle. Later she laid in on a pillow, with a  blanket, next to her while watching tv. She said the baby wanted to watch Octonauts. It's so cute to see her pretending to be a  little mother.

Nails

Last week, Arya and I went shopping with our friend Clenisha. Clenisha bought some nail polish and said we should do mani/pedis the next day. This was Arya's first time having her nails painted! She picked orange for her toenails and and red/pink for her fingernails.

Egg Hunt

Each year we tend to have an Easter Egg Hunt at Grandpa Mike and Grandma Debbie's house. This year we hosted Easter at our house. The Saturday before we had an Easter Egg Hunt for Arya in the backyard.

Every time she found one she would hold it up and shout "FOUND IT!"
 Look at all those eggs!
 Checking out her loot.
The eggs had stickers, candy, or coins in them.
Putting the coins safely in her piggy bank.

Easter 2014

Arya posing in her Easter dress. She didn't want to just stand still for the picture.

Easter Basket:

This year I was able to buy items for her basket without her going with me. In her basket she received a chocolate cross (instead of a chocolate bunny as usual), sidewalk chalk, bubbles, a toy airplane (an orange one- her favorite color!), a Winnie-the-Pooh stamp set, and plastic eggs (they contained teddy grahams, jelly beans, or coins).
