Boo at the Zoo

Sunday we went to the annual "Boo at the Zoo." If you remember we bought a "Friends of the Zoo" membership this year, so it was free...Or you could say we had already paid...either way...
I had made a big deal that we should go to this, and Bradley was very good to work on his homework so he could take the time to go.
This was Arya's first time Trick-or-Treating and she seemed a little unsure. She just looked warily at the people handing at candy and was too shy to say "please" or "thank you." Overall, though it seemed an enjoyable experience. (And to clarify- she is dressed as Tigger, not just a tiger.)

On the train.

Library

Every Wednesday Arya and I get up early to drive Daddy to work so we can have the car for the morning. First stop is the library! (Afterwards we run errands for the week.) I love our library, they have a lot of activities for children and families (actaully they even have a lot for adults). They have, what I think is a fabulous thing, a baby story time for ages 6-23 months. Arya loves Miss Alicia, the "teacher." After story time ends we usually hang out for a while because our library has a great children's area.
Arya loves to play peek-a-boo with the puppet stage in the story time room.
Just like Mommy, she loves books!

This little rocking chair has made me consider getting Arya her own for at home.

This isn't a great picture of her, but it shows the poster about Baby Storytime.

The Pumpkin Patch

On Sunday we took Arya to KC Pumpkin Patch. I had looked up "Pumpkin Patch Kansas City," this place came up and sounded awesome and it was! Gramma Suzanne is here this week so she went with us.

Arya LOVED the slides, We had to pick her up and carry her away to other activities.

Grumpy looking scarecrow.

This was "The Little Old Woman Who Lived In a Shoe."

More slides!

Family slide.
Once with just Mommy.
And then Arya wanted to do it all by herself.
Riding the little train.

Washing hands after playing with so much stuff.
Now that's what you come to a pumpkin patch for...PUMPKINS of course!

We ended up getting a bigger pumpkin- you will see a picture of it in a later post.
Riding back on the hay rack.

Arya had a blast at KC Pumpkin Patch. We were all exhausted at the end and she slept the whole way home. I hope we can go again next year.
