Today, Arya choose to take her frog from our trip to adventureland. She also was adamant that we take a little bag of hers with us. I was fine with that, but didn't understand her determination. Once she was settled in the wagon, I discovered what was so important. She had put the home phone in the bag to take with us. I guess she has learned that Mommy usually puts her cell phone in the diaper bag before we go somewhere.

Walks
Arya and I have started going for daily walks, weather permitting. "Permitting" weather may have different meanings to different people. If there is no precipitation, we are walking. We dress according to the temperature and head out. Living in the midwest it can be different depending on the time of day. Some times we are in t-shirts, some times we need hats and gloves.
As you can see in the last two pictures, Arya is allowed to choose one "buddy" (and a drink) to take on our walks. One day I had to go back and save Tigger from the middle of the street because he fell out of the wagon.

Telephone
Arya LOVES my cell phone. Actually, she loves everyone's cell phone. Scratch that, Arya LOVES ALL phones! Recently, she has learned to hold the phone up to her face to talk. She does this whether she there is someone really on the other end or not.
Notice here she has TWO cell phones.
Video chatting with Gramma Suzanne
She loves to visit with Gramma whether it is video chat or just talking on the phone. She is always heartbroken when the call ends.

Slippers
We got these Pooh slippers before Arya was born. I figured they would fit her around Kindergarten age. Until then we have had them sitting on her shelf as part of her decor. A few weeks ago it got cold and I decided they would be cute on her even though a little big. HA! They are too small! I got them on and she LOVES them, But I have now had to hide them from her! She always wants them on but it is nearly impossible! I have looked for bigger ones online and of course Amazon has them. (I LOVE Amazon and buy most things from there, even our diapers and wipes!) The only thing is the Pooh slippers on Amazon are $17, maybe it's just me but that seems a little pricey for slippers! Also, they are out of her size- they have too small and too big. I put them on her Christmas list so we'll see.
Super Arya
Arya got new jammies last week! They are "Supergirl" jammies and super cute! They are a bit big, but there is elastic around the ankles, so they work just fine. She crawled up into the rocking chair herself, as she always does to do her bedtime prayers and song. Then in the middle of getting pictures taken she went and grabbed Tigger and some books. (She now sleeps with both this Tigger AND her tigger lovey. Also, she requires I give both Tiggers a goodnight kiss after she gets her kiss. I kiss her, each Tigger, her again, and then she kisses each Tigger...repeatedly.)
She's a goofball, like her daddy!!
Not the best picture, but I am sharing it so you can see the pj pants better.
Reading Tigger a bedtime story.
Tigger got a second bedtime story! Lucky!

Play time with Mommy and Daddy
A couple weekends ago, we took Arya to a different park then the one we usually go to. It's kind of different. The play equipment isn't what you normally see at a park. Also, there were no swings and no slides.
A teeter-totter where you aren't directly across from each other.
I don't know what you would call this. You pump it and it makes you go up and down.
I love the adoration for her daddy in this one.
If her hair wasn't hanging in her face, this would be a perfect picture.
August Iowa Trip
I did posts while we were up in Iowa. Last night I was going through files on my computer and came across the rest of the pictures from that trip.
Eating outside at Great-Grandma Vaunita's. (That little seat is GREAT!)
Tomatoes!
With Grampa Brian and Great-Gma Vaunita
Video chatting with Daddy before bed. She misses him a LOT when we go up to Iowa.
Arya using a fork to feed herself.
Watching a video on Mommy's phone
Grampa Brian reading to Arya
And of course, we HAD to go to the splash pad!
We actually had the entire splash pad to ourselves. Arya had a blast running wherever she wanted.
